In our second year of operation we took the knowledge we gathered in 2007 and purchased 640 acres of land and planted 25,000 trees. In addition, we developed proprietary equipment such as a customized cultivator, a sprayer and more; some of which are in demand by up and coming agro-forestry companies. Greenfield also signed their first carbon offsetting contract with TransCanada.
